If ordinary Americans aren't filthy rich by now then there must be some extra-ordinary Americans who are obscenely wealthy by now and I don't mean Brad Pitt. I mean those with more billions than moderately sized countries. Now the whole money system has been a con job for thousands of years and the sad truth is that those who made fortunes out of it have become greedy beyond all imagninings of normal people. Truly evil. What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world yet loses his soul?

I was a big anti-war protester back in 2005. Movies like this helped that effort. If Pelosi had real courage, she would have cut off funding for the Iraq war in 2007 and brought about a withdrawl. I loved the idea of stopping the war in in Iraq, the letting them sort it out over there. If you think about it, it would have confirmed that we were right (Iraq would have gone to chaos, maybe genocide). As it is, it stands, a qausi-democratic Iraq is a sort of accomplishment for Bush.
